Biology is a practical science so come to Biology in Action our half termly practical enrichment where you can stimulate your interest and enhance your knowledge of biology in a practical context.

Practical activities are not just motivational and fun: they also enable students to apply and extend their knowledge and understanding of biology in novel investigative situations, which can aid learning and memory, and stimulate interest. We cover a wide range of applications, from microbiology to dissection; animal physiology to ecology, so there is something for everyone. It really doesn’t matter if you are thinking of a career in biology or just like practical work. You will be developing problem solving, team-work, investigative, application and communication skills to name a few!
