If you have something to say, the college blog is your platform to shout it to the world. From pop music to politics, from football to feminism, from cancel culture to canteen food, if you write it, they will come and read it. You can write once, or you can write again and again and again. From the BBC to the Man United website, students who kickstarted their careers on the pages of the blog can be found right across the media landscape, and if you aspire to join them, do the write thing and get signing up.

Films are long and lunchtime is short. How then can one square this seemingly intractable problem and show films at lunchtime without hacking them into chunks that kill all continuity and momentum? By showing short films, that’s how! We’ll watch and discuss mini-masterpieces and, in time, start making our own. You don’t need to be a Film or Media Student to attend, just someone with a passion for cinematic excellence. (Popcorn not provided).
