Join Debate Club and share you views and opinions on a wide range of issues including politics and religion. Debate Club will help you to structure and hone in your views and support them with logic and evidence. These are much needed skills for future careers and universities. Do you think the government has been handling the pandemic well? Do you think the death penalty should be reintroduced in the UK? 

 

Students propose and then debate issues that they feel are important or interesting. A student then introduces the debate with some key statistics and arguments and then allows others to contribute towards the debate. A poll is taken at the beginning and end to see what people's views are on the issue raised.

 

Choose a topic and present it to your peers, then let the debate begin!
